In the final analysis it was determined 

modern man’s extinction came about 

by commercial advertisement, 

the subtle seed of mass insanity.

They found a way to inject advertisements 

straight into the blood stream 

under a ‘good for you’ pretense
and of course everyone believed them.

Then like a catalyst it sped up a process 

that usually went forever unnoticed 

and within a decade the whole of mankind 

self destructed while seeking a sale.
