game day stupidity

(tanka)

it's getting so old

watching the players acting

like they cured cancer

after every stupid play

whether they're winning or not

-

it makes me wonder

what is their real objective

are they there to win

or are they auditioning

for some reality show

like autumn leaves

(tanka)

my words are like sighs

that have little hope to share

cuz i never thought

the values of our nation

would just up and disappear

-

like dry autumn leaves

they have died and blown away

leaving bare branches

that should survive the winter

but promise no more than that
