our cheapened state

(haiku)

i voted early

just so i don't have to watch

all the voting crap

the media makes

our simple duty to vote

a huge spectacle

a do or die game

that everyone has to play

or else it's over

but the bottom line

if it fails to entertain

it's profits decline

 we are not sheep

(haiku)

herd immunity

implies people are not sheep

as we all supposed

people are cattle

which in my mind seems better

since i like burgers

and it's more macho

being herded by cowboys

instead of shepherds

-

herd immunity

is just the experts saying

nothing really works
