to buying prescription drugs

and not going broke?

to a great healthcare program

for all the people?

to lowering deficits

and reducing debts?

to becoming smart enough

to recognize lies?

i am not angry

nor do i see much anger

in everyday life

but accordingly

to media talking heads

people are angry

yet i don't see it

but disgusted however

is seen everywhere

along with bitter

and tons of resignation

but little anger

to sum it all up

i don't believe in

aliens from outer space

with advanced powers

nor do i believe

in area fifty one

or super hero's

i simply believe

in your right to believe in

anything you want

just don't expect me

to mindlessly go along

to gain your favor

i know what i know

and i know things are changing

and we will adapt

cuz we always do

since the beginning of time

it's what life does best

appease the wicked

and you'll soon be as wicked

to the land i grew up in?

a land where hero's

actually walked among us

but denied they ever were

was the result of good deeds

instead of how much

what is their real objective

are they there to win

or are they auditioning

for some reality show

then out of the blue

i'll get a hundred or more

which really freaks me

so just imagine

how freaked i was when i got

we are all suffering from

mass insanity

and no one knows it,

doctors don't even know it

cuz they're insane too

everything doubled in size

while everyone slept

measuring tools too

so no one ever finds out

they are twice as big

for every two strokes forward

it pulls you back five

just when you give up

because it looks obvious

you're going to die

it lessens it's hold

and you find yourself floating

and gasping for air
