In the Deep
We live in an age of consequences
but many still think it is yet to come,
yelling ‘whoa horse’ mid air, too late,
falling they fall into the deep
where laws are made after the facts
and precautions are taken too late for show
and there they all go again,
drowning in the depths of their solutions.
Doesn't seem to be "consequences" for anything important and the status quo simply doesn't work anymore...the same 'ole game, day after day, month after month, year after year.
ReplyDeleteObama's budget is a betrayal and if he gets his way seniors will suffer the consequences of his lying ways and I think that's important.
