Tipping Point

A nation in question, 

a city locked down and glued 

to the manufacturers 

of fear and speculation 

and if this isn’t what we want 

than what do we want? 

After all, we certainly love it
  in the movies and on TV. 

Mostly fictional of course, 

but when do the scales tip
and it all just becomes
too much?

I think the uncle got it right, just a couple of losers, monsters no doubt,
but if the news media can pin it on some overseas plot
than we can all return to our abnormal sense of normality.
