Just Look
Look at the tin man,
hollow through and through,
jerky little movements,
a shot of oil will do.
Now look at the nation
setting abominations on high
claiming perfect vision
with a beam in it’s own eye.
Then look at the least
where hopes and dreams do end
reaching out from the abyss
to pull us all in.
Heard a comment coupla days ago from someone who just doesn't understand what it is to struggle; what people are going through. My sister & husband are going to have to sell their home, because she needs more cancer treatment and they have NO INSURANCE. Even w/gov. programs, they still have to keep pumping $ into the healthcare system. This person made the comment that she just didn't understand why people don't have insurance...it's like we live in 2 different worlds anymore. Yes, the "robot" could use some oil...hahaha
