Alternate Universe

I met myself in a alternate universe and you know what, everything including myself seemed the same which makes me wonder why they call it an alternate universe when nothing is altered except for one thing, my alternate self had no idea there were alternate universes and he seemed a lot happier than me so I told him about alternate universes and now everything is exactly the same which makes me wonder again, why are they called alternate universes?

Surviving Zombies

After one bite or scratch from a zombie, transformation is instantaneous and even though they prefer to eat brains and living flesh, dead flesh will do in a pinch which they never show in movies.  

So you’re in a group of people running away from zombies and the last guy in the group is bitten and instantly becomes a zombie and bites the guy next to him who bites the next person in the group and soon all are bitten and transformed into zombies.  So they stop running from zombies and begin eating zombies and after a while there’s only one left.  Last zombie standing you could say. Then that one begins looking for remnants of other such groups and eventually they all eat each other up leaving one of course, probably half eaten which shouldn’t be too hard to kill if you can wait it out long enough.

Fleeting Thoughts 


To really know 

is to never let anyone know 

you really know.

Soon we will all hate that kid
who woke the beast
and if we have a bit of sense
we’ll lull it back to sleep
before more is known.

In the hatchery 

an egg cracks, a beak appears 

and the ‘soon to be fryer’ 

is pampered no more.

After the economy recovers
we’ll be back to a piss poor economy
and everything will be just fine.

I read a book about hedge-funds
and it was like
the abyss was staring back at me.

The real apocalypse
will be televised,
but it won’t be remembered.

Liberty, Justice and a Top Secret Clearance for All

Now that we know who the real enemy is

we should hire half the population to spy on the other half. 

That would solve our unemployment problem, 

yield better results 

and probably be a lot cheaper than using all this hi-tech stuff.

Just think, somewhere
someone is being patted on the back
for coming up with a stupid idea
to be debated in Congress next week.

Privacy is cool.
Freedom is pretty cool too.
The problem is
I don’t know what either one
really means.

According to the polls 

we are still a great nation

yearning to be 

on the right side of history. 

Unfortunately, 

our leaders and the media 

drag us into mediocrity.

Paper Thin Truths

God forbid we ever discover 

the real, hidden truth 

when the apparent truth 

brings such criticism.

Did he really tell us anything 

we didn’t already know?

If so, please tell me what 

or can they do that 

with their heads up their butt?

That fool talks so passionately
about the thousands dead over there
and not a drop of passion
for the thousands killed right here
since December.

I'd say the war we should concern ourselves with
is the one going on right here.

Talking Head Media

They never come right back 

except eight commercials later 

they come back to tell us 

they will be right back.

Then after another eight  

they’re back 

making us think for 5 minutes 

then telling us again 

they will be right back.

I think when a couple hundred million mentalities
are conditioned this way it will yield results.

Women want equality
Yet men, the minority
Controls society

which makes me wonder
do women really know what they want.

I live in Tea Party country and whenever I witness a rally
the women always outnumber the men and those same
women support men and women who go to congress and
vote against their every right to be equal.

Could this be the result of a conditioned mentality?

Executive Order

Pull all the troops out of the middle east 

and invade the Cayman Islands. 

Confiscate every tax free, shady dollar 

and when the rich holler  

bring out the tear gas and water cannons.

After all,
they wouldn't hesitate to do the same to you.
