i don't believe in

aliens from outer space

with advanced powers

nor do i believe

in area fifty one

or super hero's

i simply believe

in your right to believe in

anything you want

just don't expect me

to mindlessly go along

to gain your favor

i know what i know

and i know things are changing

and we will adapt

cuz we always do

since the beginning of time

it's what life does best
