simple haiku

if we fight our way

to the top of the mountain

we deserve some praise

but if we're lifted

to the top of the mountain

we are just tourists

i see it quite clear

the world is a carnival

filled with attractions

there's the killing rides

and of course the holy rides

both are exciting

both time consuming

the carnival's great purpose

to waste time away
