Silver Linings and Lemonade

I needed a paint job.  My bumper and hood really looked trashy due to that clear coating stuff flaking off so on my way to Maaco I pulled into a gas station to get some tobacco and the guy in front of me was getting out of his car when it slipped into reverse and came crashing back into me.

Needless to say I was crushed, no pun intended, but it just so happened the guy worked at a body shop and said he’d fix it right up with no cost to me.  So they fixed and painted my bumper and gave me a new hood and now my car looks brand new.

True story.  It happened a few weeks ago.
